The adventure of the circular economy

“Circular Animals” is a serie of wall sculptures representing underwater flora and fauna. Each element is made of
upcycled plastic waste.

The economist Joseph Schumpeter speaks about “Creative destruction” refers to the process that is continually at
work in economies and which sees the simultaneous disappearance of sectors of economic activity in conjunction
with the creation of new economic activities. The idea of circular economy is to made the same think with our
waste!

The three animals of the first set: coral, starfish and octopus symbolize the shift in speed between actors:
politicians, citizens and scientists. Some are still motionless, others take one step after another to move towards
more ecogestures, the last finally allow the acceleration of awareness or make discoveries.

Each exhibition creates a new underwater landscape.
