The Swiss Foundation / Le Corbusier Pavilion is a place of life, culture and architecture.
Its building was built by the architects Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret from 1931 to 1933. Distributed mainly over 3 floors, the residence has a capacity of 46 individual rooms, with an area of 16 square meters each. Charlotte Perriand is the designer of the original layout.
As part of the preparations for the Centenary of the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris ( CIUP) in 2025, the Fondation Suisse gives voice to its residents through the JEMONDE artistic protocol by Maud Louvrier Clerc where everyone can write their own soul portrait. The latter is formed by 4 sentences to complete: I am... I live in a world... My commitment... My fetish phrase... A writing workshop is organized where the artist facilitates his emergence through a poetic experience, integrating an olfactory and sound device.
