« REVES D’AVENIR » À LA CITE INTERNATIONALE UNIVERSITAIRE DE PARIS EXPOSITION DU 9 SEPTEMBRE 2021 AU 28 JANVIER 2022 VERNISSAGE LE 17 SEPTEMBRE 2021 17H00 EN PRESENCE DE L’ARTISTE
A l’occasion de la « Paris Design Week », la Cité internationale universitaire de Paris accueille du 9 septembre 2021 au 28 janvier 2022 « Rêves d’avenir » de Maud Louvrier Clerc. « Rêve d’avenir » est un banc-sculpture en pierre naturelle formé par plusieurs nuages qui évoque la nécessité de lutter contre le dérèglement climatique. Prenez une pause sur un nuage pour rêver du futur Chaque nuage est composé de 4 carronds qui s’interpénètrent. Un carrond est le nom donné par l'artiste à une forme d’équilibre née de la fusion d'un carré et d'un rond. Le nuage fait référence au climat et les 4 carronds symbolisent les 4 piliers du développement durable : économie, social, environnement et culture. Ce mobilier d’art est signé Maud Louvrier Clerc et est édité par Mobilier Urbain Muzzarelli. Il combine technologie de pointe et savoir-faire artisanal. Son édition est limitée à 5 exemplaires. Un protocole interactif Le public est invité à faire un selfie, installé sur le banc pour rêver d’avenir et à le poster sur instagram. @maud_louvrier_clerc #parisdesignweek @ciup Maud Louvrier Clerc offrira à l’étudiant de la Cité internationale qui aura reçu le plus de like sa tasse à thé ou à café « Hybrid » et créera à partir des posts « Rêves d’avenir » une vidéo qui sera diffusée lors d’une Ecstatic Dance fin janvier 2022 où tous les étudiants seront invités.
Mobilier Urbain Muzzarelli mum-oc.com Forte d’une expérience de 50 ans dans la rénovation de bâtiments historiques, l’entreprise Muzzarelli crée en 2020 Mobilier Urbain Muzzarelli. La Paris Design Week 2021 est l’occasion d’une première collaboration avec Maud Louvrier Clerc. La Cité internationale universitaire de Paris ciup.fr La Cité internationale engage une réflexion et des actions concrètes afin de développer les pratiques artistiques dans ses espaces avec un triple objectif : créer de nouveaux programmes artistiques, former les étudiants et créer des passerelles avec l’écosystème artistique parisien. Avec Nuit blanche en 2019, l’installation en 2021 sur le campus d’un centre d’art contemporain (le Cneai=), une exposition-manifeste « La Cité sous le ciel » cet été dans le parc, un club des visiteurs de l’art à partir du 10 septembre et l’installation de Maud Louvrier Clerc, la Cité internationale s’impose peu à peu comme un nouveau laboratoire artistique à Paris. Imaginé en 1925 dans le mouvement pacifiste de l’entre-deux-guerres, le projet de la Cité internationale était de participer à la construction d’un monde de paix en créant un lieu où les jeunes du monde entier apprendraient à vivre ensemble. Bien que centenaire, ce projet reste pleinement d’actualité. Lieu de foisonnement culturel et artistique, le campus offre chaque année à ses 12 000 étudiants, chercheurs et artistes issus de 150 nationalités un cadre totalement cosmopolite qui favorise les échanges, les projets collaboratifs et la réflexion sur les grands enjeux du monde contemporain.

« DREAMS OF THE FUTURE » AT THE CITÉ INTERNATIONALE UNIVERSITAIRE DE PARIS EXHIBITION FROM 8TH SEPTEMBER 2021 TO 28 JANUARY 2022 OPENING 17TH SEPTEMBER AT 5.00PM IN THE PRESENCE OF THE ARTIST
On the occasion of « Paris Design Week », the Cité internationale universitaire de Paris hosts from September 8th, 2021 till January 28th, 2022 “Future dreams" designed by Maud Louvrier Clerc. “Future dreams" is a sculpture-bench formed by a group of clouds in natural stone that evokes the necessity of fighting against climate change.
Take a break on a cloud to dream of the future Each cloud is composed of 4 carronds that interpenetrate. A carrond is the name given by the artist to a form of balance born from the fusion of a square and a circle. Clouds make reference to the climate and the 4 carronds symbolize the 4 pillars of sustainable development: economy, social, environment and culture. This art furniture is designed by Maud Louvrier Clerc and edited by Mobilier Urbain Muzzarelli It combines innovation and tradition. Its edition is limited to 5.

An interactive protocole The public is invited to take a selfie, sit on the bench and dreaming of the Future on Instagram. Making a dream post or find it: Your selfie sit on the bench #parisdesignweek @maud_louvrier_clerc @citeinternationaleparis Maud Louvrier Clerc will offer to the Cité internationale student which have received the most like her cup of tea-coffee “Hybrid” and will create a video of the posts which will be shared during a Ecstatic Dance at the end of January 2022 where all Cité internationale students will be invited.
Mobilier Urbain Muzzarelli mum-oc.com/ With 50 years of experience in the renovation of historic buildings, Muzzarelli created “Mobilier Urbain Muzzarelli” in 2020 specialized in natural stone design with a wide-range of urban furniture. For Paris Design Week 2021 MUM presents its first collaboration with Maud Louvrier Clerc.
The Cité internationale universitaire de Paris www.ciup.fr/ The Cité internationale is initiating reflection and concrete actions in order to develop artistic activities in its spaces. The objective is triple: creating new artistic programs, training students and creating bridges with the Parisian artistic ecosystem. By hosting the Nuit blanche in 2019, the installation of a contemporary art center (the Cneai =) on campus in 2021, the exhibition-manifesto “La Cité under the sky” this summer in the park, a visitors' club of art starting September 10, as well as the installation of Maud Louvrier Clerc, the Cité internationale is gradually establishing itself as a new artistic laboratory in Paris. Imagined in 1925 in the pacifist movement of the interwar period, the project of the Cité internationale aimed to participate in building a world of peace, by creating a place where young people from all over the world would learn to live together. Although a hundred years old, this project remains fully relevant. A place of cultural and artistic profusion, each year the campus offers its 12,000 students, researchers and artists from 150 nationalities a fully cosmopolitan setting that promotes dialogue, collaborative projects and reflection on the major challenges of the contemporary world.
